Safety & Sustainability — We recognise that exposure to crystalline silica is a real concern in our line of work, so we do everything within our power to protect our people, and anyone within the working environment for that matter.

Some of the precautionary measures we have in place include;

• Ensuring the use of appropriate respiratory masks and protective clothing, including full-length aprons

• Vacuuming work areas prior to commencing works, such as grinding to eliminate existing dust from becoming airborne 

• Using dust extractors and air filters during grinding, mixing, jack hammering and other ‘dusty’ works

• Ensuring filters and extraction devices are cleaned regularly and in working order

• Applying lids on Portamix hippos to contain dust

• Designating work zones with restricted access to reduce exposure to others

When tasked with design, we only partner with suppliers who share in our commitment to recycling and conscious business practice.

We strive to embrace green star practices and ultimately reduce our carbon footprint through more conscious approaches to product manufacturing, selection and installation. We’ve even made the switch to operating as a fully paperless organisation, so watch out for us in your inbox not letterbox.
